Lord Berkeley Conservation Trust protects critical habitats and historic properties on the edge of a growing urban/suburban area. We work in an ongoing capacity to develop and implement strategic communications. The 25-year old brand needed a refresh as the organization positioned for growth. Working with a talented, graphic designer, we translated the organizations’ vision into a contemporary new identity and guided the implementation across platforms. We have also provided  a full collection of public relations services including: news announcement strategies (including writing releases and pitching stories), media interview preparation/consultation, and proactive messaging on important issues.

The South Carolina Land Trust Network member organizations requested assistance tackling the communications challenge of public funding of conservation easements on private land, without public accessibility. Working in conjunction with another boutique public relations firm, we conducted a messaging workshop to identify key themes and points of pride, developed a written communications plan, and created a toolkit (sample facebook posts, sample news release, media tips) enabling land trusts to incorporate messaging into their daily communications.
